Ellie is finally trying to imitate words! She also is finally saying mama with meaning! It sounds like "meh meh" or "meh me." She attempts to sign please and can sign and say bye bye.

In other communication news, she occasionally indicates a poopy diaper by grabbing her bum and saying "boo" (for poo I guess).

Play:
She likes to play with Claire's toys more than the ones she got for Christmas. She loves the little figures and ponies and barbie-type frozen dolls. She plays well independently in the playroom. She likes the play kitchen, pushing dolls around, sitting at the little table, putting toys in and out of the net in the table. She is also still very into putting on accessories and dressing up.

Physical:
Our little monkey is now standing on toys to get higher and using pillows on the ground to help climb on the couch. She likes getting a high five. In the car, when Claire puts her hand out for a high five after buckling herself, Ellie sticks her little hand out too. Speaking of fun in the car, she's in the shoe removal phase! She takes her shoes and socks off most of the time. She's still doing great with her utensils. She successfully fed herself a whole dish of oatmeal with a spoon.

With Daniel:
She loves Daniel! She loves to kiss Daniel (she presses her lips to his head and says "Bo!") and bring him a blanket or pacifier. She tries to put the paci in and then rips it right back out. She does get jealous or frustrated at time of course but overall has done really well with having a new baby around.
