Zoo trip:
I took the girls on the first of what I would consider a big outing by myself. Meaning we didn't just stay somewhere in the next town or two and we were gone for multiple hours. For this trip, I braved the Grant Park farmers market and the Atlanta zoo. It went very well!

Then there was a trip down south of Atlanta to Rock Ranch with Jeff's parents for a pre-Mother's Day celebration. That night we had dinner with all the Schulzes at Buckner's and went back to their house for dessert and to see the new swing Grandpa got.

We did a little hiking at Red Top mountain as a test run for our upcoming trip to Nova Scotia. Ellie did give in and fall asleep during her nap time, a good sign!
We also had various birthday celebrations for me. Over Memorial Day weekend we had people over for pool time and cupcakes. On my birthday, I got the new stroller I wanted so we took it for a spin at a local park. Jeff obliged me by playing photographer for some shots of me and my girls. That evening we met my parents for an impromptu birthday dinner at Osteria del Figo, a pasta place downtown.
